Prologue
I’d like to welcome the reader to part I of this two part book series and the concepts and methods that we’ll be discussing throughout the reading. Although the topics covered in these books could put them in the general self help category, I feel it necessary to clarify that the scope of these books probably goes a bit beyond that. I believe that each book could probably fill up a one semester college course on the topic of metaphysics. Now most metaphysics courses tend to focus on the nature of the reality that exists beyond the physical world from a purely rationalists based perspective. This means that reasoning alone is generally used to try to get a sense of how the metaphysical world might work. In this book, however, we will be taking a much more experienced based heuristic approach. This is because we will be studying in great detail the nature of what is generally called the subconscious mind. I often like to say that physical reality is to the physical body what the metaphysical reality is to the subconscious mind. In other words, just as you would study physical reality by interacting with it through your physical body, you would similarly study the metaphysical reality by interacting with it through your subconscious mind.
This perceived relationship between the metaphysical and the subconscious is probably one that you’ve rarely ever heard made. However that is ultimately the way I’ve started to see things based on my experience studying the subconscious mind. In part I of this two part book series, you will be introduced to a more metaphysical definition of what the subconscious mind is and the basic mechanics of how it operates. This may feel similar to studying the mechanics of the physical world in a physics book – at least that’s how I’ve come to think of it. In learning these mechanics, you will gain the ability to control your subconscious on a more consciously aware level. This, in a sense, will allow you to access the full power of your thoughts and enable you to use your subconscious for what I believe God has truly intended it for – creating your own reality. Sometimes this world is so difficult to face and to navigate our way around that we can sometimes feel very discouraged in doing so. However, I don’t think that we were ever meant to face the difficulties of this world without accessing the more complete capabilities of our subconscious mind. This part of our mind is so powerful that it tends to behave like a sort of equalizer for the challenges of this world. The only problem is that our subconscious, like our physical body, is somewhat complex and doesn’t exactly come with its own instruction manual. Because of that, it is my hope that this book act as that needed instruction manual for others.
But then what exactly can you do once you’ve learned how the subconscious mind works and how to control it? Well I’ve broken these newfound abilities down into four main categories. The first is learning how to control your emotions. Now, just to be clear, this does not mean preventing yourself from becoming angry when you’re annoyed or some meaning similar to that. Instead, you will learn how to actually control your emotions on a conscious level. For example, if you wish to feel more happy, you can actually manipulate your own subconscious to accomplish just that. Furthermore, you will learn how to feel this emotion pretty much as intensely as you wish to. Similarly, if you wish to feel more inner peace or be more romantically in love, you can do so. As you will see, our affinity for feeling emotions is not directly a function of the external world as we often like to think that it is. This way of thinking severely limits us and is the reason why we often have so much trouble experiencing the joy and happiness that we seek. Instead, emotions are purely a function of the behavior of the subconscious mind. Once you learn to control this activity, you will learn how to control your emotions consciously and will feel much more empowered in your capacity to experience joy or whatever emotion you wish to feel in the moment.
The second new ability you will gain after learning to control your subconscious is in your overall capacity to perform well at things. Although this may sound a bit strange right now, your ability to “perform” in pretty much anything is also a function of the behavior of your subconscious mind. Once you learn how to control your subconscious, you will be able to essentially control how well you perform at much pretty anything. This includes enhancing your creativity in whatever activity you wish to perform well at too. If you want to become a better musician, songwriter, conversationalist, joke teller, sports player, leader or even if you want to become better at solving problems, you will learn how to do so through the power of your subconscious mind. You will also learn how to enter the relatively mysterious but also somewhat magical state colloquially referred to as “the zone”. For example, when you have found yourself performing really well at some activity in a seemingly effortless way, you might have described the special mental state you were in by saying that you were in the zone. In this book, you will learn what the zone is, how it works and how to access it almost whenever you’d like to. Furthermore, you will learn how to go even deeper into the zone as well. Toward the end of this book, we will also discuss some relatively miscellaneous topics having to do with some interesting applications of subconscious understanding that I’ve come to gain over the years as I’ve learned more about the subconscious mind and have gotten used to controlling it.
These first two newfound abilities you will gain in learning to control your subconscious are what we will primarily be discussing in book I of this series. For this reason, you can think of book I as the more secular portion of the series. In book II, we will discuss the other two abilities you will gain through learning subconscious control. These abilities are instead much more “supernatural” in nature and thus you can think of part II as the more supernatural portion of the book series. The third category of what you’ll actually be able to do with your subconscious mind, once you've learned how to control it, has to do with your connection to and understanding of the being we call God. Most people attempt to seek God and understand him through the institution of religion in their society. Often it is presumed that God can pretty much be anything we want him to be as “what he is” is confined entirely to our beliefs. But I don’t subscribe to that ideology at all. Technically gravity can also be whatever we choose for it to be too, but that doesn’t exactly mean that this random definition will also match onto reality. Furthermore, I think it’s fair to say that any definition of gravity that doesn’t actually fit the physical reality is largely just a play on words and an exercise of one’s imagination. I believe that the nature of God works under a similar paradigm. But then how can we know the true nature of God which does match onto reality?
Well, believe it or not, you can actually achieve this through your subconscious mind. I’ve come to learn that God is actually not as mysterious a being as we often like to believe. In fact a good chunk, though not necessarily all, of his nature and his ways were already programmed into our subconscious mind. We already know him and communicate with him on a subconscious level without realizing it. The key of course is to start speaking to God and understanding his ways on a conscious level. I believe that learning how to control the subconscious mind will actually allow you to do just that. Now, although the technique we'll be discussing to achieve this actually has nothing to do with a specific religion, I will say that my personal experiences with God have lead me to believe in Jesus Christ as the primary path to God. For this reason, much of our discussion in part II of this book will be colored in a Christian ideology. However, my goal isn’t necessarily to proselytize my beliefs through this book. Instead, I will show you how to understand, connect to and communicate with God through your subconscious mind. From there God will direct you in what you’re to further believe about him, as he has done with me.
The last category regarding what you’ll be able to do once you learn how to control your subconscious involves what we generally refer to as psychic abilities. Although I don’t have as much experience with psychic abilities as with other subconscious abilities, I believe that I have understood the basics well enough to teach you about them. Now psychic abilities in general, I believe, have certain “rules” to them that make them rather dangerous to use outside of specific direction from God. For this reason, I have not used them too often. However, I’ve decided to include information on how to use these abilities in part II of this book as there may be those called to serve God by using these abilities. In general psychic abilities fall into two main categories. The first is generally referred to by the term ESP in parapsychology. This involves sensing things as a distance without the use of your physical senses. The second type of psychic ability is generally referred to by the term psychokinesis in parapsychology. This involves influencing things at a distance without the use of the physical body. For our purposes though, we will primarily discuss this second type of psychic ability in terms of a traditional Chinese concept, “chi energy”. At that point, we will learn the basic concepts of what I believe chi energy is and how it works. As you will see, this energy is primarily controlled through your subconscious mind.
Toward the end of part II of this series, we will look at a much broader application of the mechanics of the subconscious mind by looking at the nature of the metaphysical reality overall. There we will look at the nature of reality beyond that of the subconscious mind. As you will see, much of the metaphysical reality in general operates on the same basic principles as the subconscious. This is not unlike how the physical body operates on the same fundamental principles as the rest of the physical reality. During this discussion, we will discuss some of my basic beliefs on the nature of reality in the spirit world, the purpose of life in general and what I’ve come to call the 5 laws of metaphysics. I believe that much of what happens in this world, in terms what happens in our life and in society in general, is actually the result of metaphysical principles. I believe that humanity in general wastes so much time and energy chasing true joy and happiness because we keep ignoring the metaphysical part of the equation. This largely causes people and societies to be stuck in a kind of endless cyclical loop, attempting to cause changes that are largely impossible to obtain due to inadvertent misapplication of metaphysical law. For example, I now believe that true lasting happiness and joy is impossible without a strong relationship with God. And I'm not suggesting this as some kind of trite religious fundamentalist belief. Rather it is actually metaphysical law and cannot be violated. For this reason, I believe it is imperative to understand metaphysical law if one wishes to understand the more complete nature of reality and how to obtain true happiness.
Although these books do not require much of an educational background beyond that of high school, I will make various references to phenomena that occur in physics as well as to certain ideas in philosophy. In particular, we will study and expand upon the concept of forms as described by Plato. This idea actually plays a very large role in the nature of the subconscious mind. Now because our discussion will largely center around a theory that I’ve created on my own, you will not really be able to look up the information in this book from other sources to try to understand them from a different perspective – at least not using the same terminology and theoretical formalism that is set up in these two books. For this reason, I have tried my best to explain this theory of the subconscious as perspicuously as I can. In fact, I am aware that I may have overdone it at times and have needlessly overexplained certain concepts to a seemingly pedantic degree. However this was done in an effort to ensure that the reader is able to more fully and completely grasp the concepts being presented. That being said, I do hope that you continue to read both of these books on subconscious energy mechanics and complete the reading material overall. I believe that understanding the true nature of your subconscious mind will enable you to experience reality from a whole new perspective. Furthermore I suspect that you will recognize this new perspective as an upgrade from your previous one. So, once again, welcome to this theory of subconscious energy mechanics. I hope you enjoy the reading and feel that it has helped you to become a better person by the end of it.
